Please join us for the premiere of my highly anticipated documentary series, “Stepping Into the Shade”. After the screening will be an exclusive evening showcasing the series’ most captivating scenes, followed by a thought-provoking panel discussion and live Q&A session.

Stepping Into the Shade is a love story about the people who toiled in the soil on the Connecticut tobacco farms. This documentary series will explore the history of Connecticut tobacco farming and the various stories of the people from as far as Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Poland to HBCU’s in Atlanta and running thru Pennsylvania who worked on the farms and changed culture and Civil Rights.
The series is directed and executive produced by Brian Day and Kristen Morgan from Eastern Connecticut State University and hosted by TV Personality June Archer who is also an executive producer on the series.
