Girls For Technology presents: STEM In The City- Rhythms Of Renaissance
Join us for an enchanting evening featuring the inspirational Stephanie LeBlanc-Godfrey, Global Head of Inclusion Program for Women of Color at Google, where elegance meets innovation, and the Rhythms of the Renaissance come alive in the heart of our city. K-12 Youth Initiative:
Featuring our immersive, hands-on after-school educational program, a tour of historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), and our SparkHart Hackathon, our K-12 Youth Initiative is advancing the success of students of color in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and preparing them for the future workforce.
Building For Equity:
Building For Equity is a 6-week accelerated program and pitch competition for Black and Latina business owners to acquire the necessary training, mentorship, knowledge, and skills needed to gain access to capital. At the end of Building For Equity, each participant will pitch their business plan to an audience of investors and peers at our Building For Equity Pitch Competition!
Pipeline 4.0 Workforce Development:
The program links education with technical skills training and jobs to create pathways out of poverty and towards opportunity. Students learn innovative methods to be faster and more effective.
