Nicone Gordon, WISC President & Ogewu Agbese
Ogewu Agbese spearheaded the creation of the Caribbean American Toastmasters of Hartford (CATCH) to ensure that members of the organization can get the support needed to grow both professionally and personally. In addition, public speaking and leadership development goes beyond the organization and into the community so the club is truly a community based club and anyone can be a member of the CATCH and not be a member of WISC. Ogewu was instrumental in the 2015 Scholarship program and is back to chairing the committee in 2016. Ogewu is a committed member of the Strategic Planning/Digital Community Committee where is team playing skill is quite evident as he does whatever is needed to keep the various projects on track. Ogewu is also serving as a co- Chairperson for 2016 Small Business Marketplace EXPO with a focus on the small business owners.
